Colin Medley is not the tallest man (though this is not to say he is short) nor is he the strongest. Furthermore he has subpar vision requiring that he wear glasses on a daily basis, must engage in frequent naps to fend of crankiness and sometimes grows mustaches of questionable integrity.
However he more than makes up for these faults with his friendly demeanor, punctuality and devoted coverage of indie-rock culture in its many facets. His blog is updated frequently with videos, pictures, illustrations and writings which collectively provide a fresh and colourful perspective on his subject of choice.
On a weekly basis Colin can be found around town filming performances of local and visiting acts at a wide variety of venues. Many of these videos somehow make their way to The Ampersand, the National Posts’ arts and entertainment blog.
